Ceremonies are my full time job
like some venues won't let you book friday rehearsals
i might have a friday ceremony
if i can't be there, I'll send a trained officiant in my stead

ask yourself first - do i even need one?
are your parents/grandparents walking in the processional?
do you have ringbearer(s) or flower girl(s)?
do you have no wedding party, or even no best man/maid of honor?

-allow 60 minutes. most are done in 30.
-if schedules are tight, you can always eat first.
-you may bring your marriage license to the rehearsal if you wish, but I won't sign or take possession of it until the day of the ceremony
doesn't have to be the day before
-Keep invitees to a minimum. Less people, less money, less side conversations & less entertaining of ideas that don't really matter.
Be patient with the kids. For the youngest ones, have adults walk them or at least coax them. If they go off script or off the path, let 'em. It's adorable and makes everyone smile.
