The very tail end of your ceremony goes like this: the pronouncement, your kiss, your introduction, and finally your walk back up the aisle to kick off your recessional.

Your introduction (except for the rhyming couplet options) begins with some variation on the phrase: "Presenting to you, for the first time..." Here are your options for the rest of that statement:

  • Formal with titles: "Mr. & Mrs. Malcolm and Saffron Reynolds!"
  • Formal without titles: "William and Deanna Riker!"
  • Informal, first and last names: "Jim and Pam Halpert!"
  • ***Informal, first names only: "The newly-wed Gomez and Morticia!"
  • A rhyming couplet, first and last names: "The apple of each other’s eye - give it up for George and Lorraine McFly!"
  • ***A rhyming couplet, first names only: "The newest married couple you know, make some noise for Miles and Keiko!"
  • ***Skip the introduction: your recessional begins immediately after your kiss.

***If neither of you are changing your names, or if one of you is adopting a hyphenated last name, these are your best options.
