My terrible puns aside, Canton really is home to some of the finest wedding venues in all of Ohio. In the market for some Tuscan-themed charm and elegance? Gervasi Vineyard has more of it than Tuscany. Wanna get married in a mansion? The grand stairway at Chateau Michelle awaits. Looking for some rustic warmth and idyllic scenery? Peacock Ridge and White Rose Barn, both just across the border in North Lawrence, have both in spades!

But I'm not usually the first wedding vendor people shop for - most folks shore up their date and their wedding venue first and in tandem. So if you're reading this, it's likely that you have already decided when and where your ceremony is taking place, but you're still figuring out exactly what you want that ceremony to be. As you might guess - I have some suggestions!

How about a custom ceremony?

A common assumption among my ceremony attendees is that I'm an old friend of the couple - an assumption referred to often in my reviews! Just take this crash course in ceremony theory, browse the ceremony archives, and take a peek at some of my favorite wedding ceremony readings, and you'll get a good idea of just how fun, classy, and compellingly personal your ceremony can be.

How about a secular ceremony?

You might also be looking for a purely nonreligious ceremony - and that's exactly what I provide. While a church ceremony focuses overwhelmingly on religious themes, yours will instead focus on love, commitment, and the most joyful, warm and charming aspects of your relationship.

How about a short ceremony?

In my 15 years of officiating, I've found that most wedding ceremony attendees start to become visibly distracted or fidgety around 15-20 minutes. So I'll keep your ceremony the same length. Your peeps came to eat, drink, dance and celebrate with you anyway - my job is to emotionally prime everyone for the EPIC party to come! Why drag it out?

How about a kickass ceremony?

"From the moment you have your first phone call with him, it is obvious that he is a true, genuine character who is passionate about what he does. He has an extremely friendly demeanor about him, and his humor is so much fun." - Leah H., TheKnot.com

"The ceremony he put together sounded as if he knew us for years. I had NUMEROUS guests come up to me and tell me how amazing he was and how perfect our ceremony was. Lots of emotions, laughs, tears - it was everything!" - Jenna O., WeddingWire.com

"Tim is incredible! He curated the perfect secular wedding for us. He is very experienced and it truly shows. Working with Tim was one of the most enjoyable parts of the wedding." - Kelly D., WeddingWire.com

Those are just excerpts from three of over 200 reviews - and I assure you, they're all just as glowing!
